"The room was spacious and generally clean, but the soundproofing wasn't great. I was staying overnight for a connecting flight and was woken up by people talking loudly in the hallway. It's possible they were just very loud, though. The room had a window, but it faced the bathroom – luckily, there was a curtain to block it out. The hotel offers airport shuttle service, but when I tried to call the number they gave me from the airport, it was constantly busy, so I ended up taking a taxi myself. The drop-off service to the airport, however, was perfectly fine; I took the hotel's car."

This time, I booked a personalized travel planning service through Trip.com, and the entire process, from communicating my needs to finalizing the itinerary, was incredibly hassle-free. Initially, I just vaguely mentioned wanting to ”avoid crowds and focus on local food experiences.” The planner not only patiently asked about my travel dates, budget, and preferences but also proactively provided recent weather updates, local transport tips, and even pre-marked several niche but highly-rated restaurants for me. Their attention to detail was more thorough than my own. Once the plan was ready, the timing of each leg of the journey and the flow between attractions were very well-thought-out. Even the best routes within attractions and tips for avoiding peak times were noted, showing how much effort went into it. Although I ultimately couldn't go due to a personal emergency, I was really disappointed. However, when the planner learned about it, they didn't complain at all and even proactively helped me sort out potential alternative plans, which showed incredible professionalism and thoughtfulness. Such a dedicated and responsible planner is truly rare. Even though I couldn't embark on the trip this time, I was still deeply impressed by their conscientiousness."

"Very nice hotel with good friendly staff. They offer free delivery and help to store your Taobao packages. The free breakfast every morning is very delicious with various cuisine selections. The location is very convenient too. Right in the city center and easy to call didi as well as metro which is right across. The bicycles are parked right in front as well so you can rent them. Free water and snacks are given everyday too. Will definitely recommend this place if you were to stay in Shanghai."

"The front desk service was absolutely fantastic; the staff were warm, professional, and handled check-in efficiently and thoughtfully. They even took the initiative to tell me about the hotel facilities and local tips. The room was spotless, the bedding was comfortable and odorless, and the bathroom was immaculate. Every detail showed how much care they put in, and they even offered luggage storage. Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations; I had a very comfortable stay."

"Overall, the room facilities are a bit old. Although I received a complimentary upgrade to an executive floor, which was supposedly renovated in 2022, it didn't feel particularly impressive. **Facilities:** When I first entered the room, the air conditioning was extremely hot, and no matter how I adjusted it, nothing changed. I called guest services, and they informed me that an engineering colleague would come to check it. I waited for a full two hours, and no one showed up. The bathroom was unbearable – it was incredibly, incredibly hot! Furthermore, the hotel's soundproofing is absolutely terrible. **Breakfast:** As for breakfast, there were no Shanghai specialty breakfast items at all. When I asked the noodle station chef if they had scallion oil noodles, her reaction made it seem like I owed her millions. There weren't even any wontons. Although the hotel seems to have many international guests, I also noticed a good number of families. The breakfast selection could be adjusted to include more ingredients suitable for Chinese palates. The breakfast choices were limited, the chicken sausages were undercooked, and the bacon was too tough, which isn't what I'd expect from an international five-star hotel."

"I booked three rooms for my friends and family this time, and everyone said it was absolutely fantastic! The location, facilities, and service were all top-notch. The rooms were super spacious, yet clean and tidy. The beds were just the right firmness, very comfortable. The lobby is huge, and the staff are all very friendly. They even offer complimentary lemonade, freshly ground coffee, and biscuits for guests to enjoy. That's really thoughtful. The cleaning staff were also very polite. If I get the chance, I'll definitely come back again."

"Overall, the room itself wasn't a major issue. The front desk initially upgraded my room, but that room was extremely damp, poorly lit, and the bed felt quite moist. When I informed the front desk, they promptly moved me to a room across the hall. I noticed that northwest-facing rooms tend to be damp but are more spacious, while southeast-facing ones are sunny but relatively smaller. My new room had a very comfortable and huge bed, easily 2.2 meters wide. The soundproofing was excellent; despite being next to a main road, there was absolutely no noise. The concierge at the entrance was also very friendly and actively helped with my luggage. I found this hotel to be particularly suitable for business travelers. Many exhibition attendees stay here, and a lot of airline crew members also use it for rest. As a result, you'll find quite a few international guests."

"Hotel is in a very convenient location.. u can walk to the nanjing east street and metro from the left of the hotel instead as its safer walking near the road than the shady path on the right side. Hotel also allows taobao delivery and will help to congregate ur parcels together under the same name for ease of collection. Room was also clean but staff were not as attentive which resulted in a loss of luggage. There is also light drilling noises that starts at 7am which was not made known to me prior to booking. We placed 1 big + 1 small luggage at the hotel before heading to two other cities and only picked them up after we were back in Shanghai. Staff had stored the small luggage separately from the big one and did not check the number of pieces during collection so we ended up forgetting to pick up the small luggage and left it at the hotel. We could not deliver the small luggage to our airport hotel in time as it was too late at night and the staff wanted to charge us 200 yuan just to bring it over via taxi. Do not accept hotel's offer to book a taxi for u. When we left the hotel, the hotel offered to book a taxi for us to go to the airport hotel and said it would be 200 yuan which included the driver helping to load and unload luggage.. for usual didi, hotel doesnt offer this service and there isnt a proper lobby/drop off point so its hard for the didi to drop ppl off or even locate the lobby and it is hard to roll luggages up cos it is a slope. There were times the didi would jus drop us a whole street away. We agreed to the price but the driver asked for 250-280 yuan upon arrival at our destination and we were forced to pay 250 yuan."

"The hotel is conveniently located directly across from a subway station, providing easy access to Hongqiao Airport and the high-speed rail station via Line 2. Within a 500-meter walk, there are two large shopping malls, Galeries Lafayette and Lujiazui Center. The hotel's front desk staff are incredibly service-oriented and professional. They helped with luggage at both check-in and check-out and offered free luggage storage, which was incredibly thoughtful."
